TWO STOREY EXTENSION IN A CONSERVATION AREA    BASINGSTOKE

This involved a two storey extension in a conservation area. The brief from the client was for a new open plan kitchen on the ground floor and a bathroom and bedroom on the first floor. We worked closely with the client to produce an extension that had a sense of belonging to the original house.

The changes we introduced were subtle, but made a huge difference in the way the new extended kitchen interacted with the house and the garden. Completely refurbishing the kitchen and connecting it to the dining room makes the kitchen feel larger than it is, and new doors into the garden gives this route a feel very special character and ambience to the gardens.
